Strong, Sexy, & Stylish is a collective of experts working toward a shared goal: To teach women to love themselves. Through discussions, writing, and classes, we hope to illustrate how exploring health, sexuality, and fashion can contribute to an overall sense of well-being.

Meet the Leaders

Karen Kraus
Karen Kraus (aka Juniper Jane) is a lifestyle expert, multi-passionate entrepreneur and idea maker. Her current projects include her work with Strong, Sexy & Stylish, an inspirational women's website (coming soon), her own mind/body practice, and her current stint as a teacher for the Saint Paul College massage and personal training programs.

Karen feels extremely lucky to live most of her days creating, inventing and working on her true passions. When not working she is outside playing, dreaming and loving life. She lives in St. Paul, MN, with her boyfriend Jay and their two fat cats Sam and Oscar.


Laura Rad
Laura Rad has been educating herself and others about sexuality for over eight years. She is one of the co-hosts of the Sex is Fun podcast as well as a contributor to the Sex is Fun online magazine, Hot Dish on the Smitten Kitten website, and Playboy UK. She loves to teach to large groups and has been a presenter at the University of MN, the SXSW Festival and Pride in Stockholm, Sweden as well as many other events. Laura also contributed chapters for the book Sex is Fun!: Creative Ideas for Exciting Sex.

Laura holds an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy and has founded Edgewise, an affirming and welcoming place for relationship and sex positive therapy in the Minneapolis, MN, area. Sally McGraw
Sally McGraw is a Minneapolis-based freelance writer, blogger, and communications professional. She earned a creative writing degree from Binghamton University in 1998 and, after graduation, worked in the book and magazine publishing industry for 10 years. She has contributed writing to local newspapers, magazines, and websites throughout her entire professional life, and regularly contributes fashion features to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

In addition to writing her popular daily style and body image blog Already Pretty, she has contributed to The Frisky, TypeF, and Glamour and guest posted everywhere from the revered fashion blog The Coveted to the wildly popular style advice blog You Look Fab.

Sally is an ongoing contributor to Channel 12's Money Savers segment, has appeared as a guest on Twin Cities Live, has been interviewed on the popular talk radio program the Lori & Julia Show, and was featured in Minnesota Monthlyand the Star Tribune.
